AASECT Sex Therapy Supervisor and AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
I'm so glad you've found your way here and are considering me as your supervisor. Feel free to explore this virtual space. When you're ready to take the next step, you’re welcome to schedule a time for us to connect.
I am currently offering both AASECT CST and CST SIT supervision and AAMFT mentorship. You have the option of telesupervision and in-person supervision in Tacoma, WA.

As a supervisor, I’m dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for therapists and supervisors of sex therapists. My goal is to help you develop practice foundations rooted in anti-colonial principles, financial liberation, and bold, community-centered disruption in the sexual health field.
When I started supervision, I couldn't find anyone that looked liked me offering supervision in my community. That was what drove me to become a supervisor.
As a supervisor, I am committed to creating a supportive, affirming learning environment where therapists can build practices rooted in anti-colonial frameworks, financial sustainability, and meaningful disruption of the status quo in the sexual health field.
When I began my own supervision journey, I struggled to find supervisors who looked like me or shared my lived experiences. That absence is what inspired me to become a supervisor—and to show up for clinicians who deserve representation, mentorship, and community.

My continued growth in anti-racist, de-colonial, and unsettling therapeutic practices influences my work with supervisees.
Take a look around. If you are ready to take the next step, schedule a time for us to meet.
My Approach:
I love supporting sex therapists through case consultation, private practice building, psychoeducation, collaborative workshops, and community engagement. My supervisory style is what I call “Auntie style”—nurturing, guiding, and attuned to each supervisee’s journey. With years of involvement in AASECT and a deep understanding of our professional family’s dynamics, I aim to follow supervisees’ wisdom to where they need to go and serve as a good ancestor for the profession.
I encourage my supervisees to get involved within our professional communities and to support each other as sexuality professionals.

I’ve been volunteering with AASECT since 2017, including six years on the Membership Committee—two as chair—and service on the Ethics Advisory Committee. I’m also a long-term member of the BIPOC SIG and currently serve as Western Representative to the Membership and Nominating Committees.

Because AASECT is volunteer-run, staying involved is a way to support your professional family. Being active in the community is central to my supervision, as it keeps me connected to my professional siblings, evolving standards, ethical guidance, and equity-focused initiatives.

WHAT SUPERVISEES SAY
Morris, LMFT, CST
We did it!! Thank you so much for your support, guidance, and grace navigating these past couple of years with me, Anne! I literally couldn’t have done it without you, and also wouldn’t have wanted to do it without you :) You are an incredible supervisor, and I feel so lucky to get to learn from you.
Jen, LMFT
I could not have imagined a more safe space to be vulnerable and to grow into this work. Specifically, you crafted a container for exploration in which I was able to let go of my fear of failure and the shame that accompanied it.
J, LMFT
The particular way you challenged toward growth also simultaneously uplifted and made it possible for me to see my own worth and potential in novel ways. The vibe you set for our class made that possible. I was able to really bloom in that space in ways I don't think I would have if it had not been with you as our professor. You are a gifted supervisor and professor and an amazing human being and I feel so lucky to have been in your class.
Rebekah Kanefsky, LMHC
You are a fucking rock star! You are an amazing queen! You are incredible and I feel so fortunate for having crossed professional paths with you. I believe that I speak for so many others with whom you have worked when I say: I feel better as a result of knowing you.
